My Opinion About DigitalDreamGirls:
UPDATE - September 10th, 2007 : Site has changed its name from Digital Dreamgirls to Digital Desire.
Some of you may have known this site by its prior name: Digital Dreamgirls. Nowadays the site is called Digital Desire and the name isn't the only thing that has changed over the past year. The price has also changed, which is not surprising, yet you'll be happy to know that it hasn't increased very much and is still more than affordable. What hasn't changed is the design. The members' area looks practically identical to what it was a year ago, though I never felt there was a need to improve it anyhow. You can now do a model search, but it seems the keyword search has been abandoned, and just as well, since it sucked from what I recall. The amount of content has continued to explode and I have now discovered iPod downloads, which is exactly what I wanted last year. Also, movies don't appear to be DRM protected any longer.
This is one of those sites that really needs to be explored, and I can assure you that it will take more than a month, because videos and pictures aren't the only things happening here these days. I found model blogs, a message board, daily updates, bloopers and backstage along with the erotic content. What can I say, Digital Desires continues to turn me on in a deliciously teasing way. End of Update.
Update - Posted on September 14th, 2006 : Here I am over a year later and updating a site that Matuloo reviewed. While we have different tastes, there's no denying that we both appreciate gorgeous women and DD Girls still has plenty of what he called "super hot models". Babes just don't get any better, neither does the amount of content, which has done nothing but explode since last year. This is still a fabulous value for babe lovers and there is now a search feature, but I tried entering common keywords like blondes to no avail. It looks like you still need to rely on the menu system to weed through the enormous amount of photos and videos.
The pictures are as sharp as they ever were, and videos are the same in quality, but DRM still exists. Downloads are slow, even for me, and this was my major complaint since most people don't have a 3Mb connection in my part of the world unless they do a whole lot of porn surfing. Despite that there have been some improvements, I still don't want to up the score of DD Girls because I feel that navigation could be cleaned up, there should be an iPod format available for this type of site, the server was slow, and there was really nothing much in the way of originality and particularly variety, although I must admit this is a niche site with some of the most fabulously teasing photos and videos I've ever had to squeeze my legs together for. Despite the drawbacks, DDGirls.com is still amongst the best of the babe sites. End of Update.
Original Review Follows : Everyone who has been surfing the adult internet for a while, has undoubtedly seen pics taken by J. Stephen Hicks, one of the most talented glamour photographers of this decade. I am sure you recall those high quality photos, with a small "DDGirls" watermark in the left corner. These photos were always amongst the best I came across, leaving a big part of competition behind, and it's still the same today. Finally, I have an opportunity to take a look at this site and review it at the same time. Hopefully, It's gonna be as good as I hope to :-)
The design of this site is very well done, it looks really clean and nice but simple at the same time. One can preview quite a lot of their stuff for free, but the goodies are in the paid area of course. Members section keeps the same look, offering a lot of sub sections to browse through. I had to study the system for a while, to really start feeling at home here. But that's how it goes with such a big amount of content, there is no way of making the navigation easier.
As I mentioned in the "price & payment options" section, the site has two main sections - softcore and hardcore. Even though the hardcore section requires a bit more expensive membership, it's really worth it. Getting access to the softcore section only, is like drinking alcohol free beer :-) Nevertheless, even the softcore version of the site is worth it without a doubt.
Being such a well known photographer as J.Stephen Hicks is, he get's his hands on the best nude models all around the world, all famous nudes already have or would like to model for him. This assures very high model standard across the site. On one side, there are all the famous ones, on the other side, there is a ton of relatively unknown babes who simply look good enough to grab J's attention. This assures a lot of variety and superb looking babes - hence the name of the site - Digital DREAM girls.
DDGirls.Com is using a sub-sections system, sorting the content based on it's genre. We got Covergirls, DreamGirls, Creamgirls, Girlfriends, Hooters, Just19, Pornstar and Seasonal sections, each focused on a different theme. Then there are special sections like : amateurs, backstage, bloopers, brazil, flashback, intight, strip ... plenty of smaller sections that you can browse through, just to discover more and more ultimate babes as you advance :-) Given that you have the "extended" membership, you have even more sections at your disposal : dream heat, girlz-girlz, girls-n-boys ... the list goes on and on. As you can see the site is literally huge in content .In case you don't want to browse by sections, you can use the model directory and pick your favorites directly.
There really is a ton of content to browse through, and to make it even better, its in awesome quality. Photos that you will get to view here, are top notch, one of the best that I have ever seen. Extremely sharp, well shot, delivered in massive resolution of up to 1280*837. The same goes for videos, very well produced and encoded at a high bitrate of up to 1500 Kbit/s. You can download each video in WMV or Quicktime format. The bad thing about the videos is that they are DRM protected, which means that once your membership to DDGirls expires, you wont be able to watch them anymore. I don't like this one bit, but more and more sites are doing this as we speak, so looks like we'll have to get used to it :(
Ok, now more about the content. Probably the biggest part of it is solo girls posing, or playing with themselves. It's always pretty softcore, unless you're in the hardcore section. Many of the pics and videos are artistic in a way, they use some effects from time to time, adding certain atmosphere to the scenes. Any fan of artistic and tasty erotic photography, will feel at home in the softcore section of DDGirls. It all changes with the hardcore section, there is plenty of boy/girl sex, lesbian action, masturbation and dildo action.
What I liked about this site, was the availability of both soft and hardcore pics/videos. On one hand there is a ton of superb shot glamour stuff, and just a few clicks away, explicit hardcore movies are all packed for you to enjoy. Still featuring the same class models. This is something I missed on a lot of softcore sites, cause sometimes you got to get tired of posing and what is a better cure than some good ole hard fuck session? :-)
The review is getting long, but I have to mention a few more things. Interviews - they are available, and I liked watching them. Gives the site a personal feel and it's interesting to find something about your favorite model. Daily updates, something new is available for the members every day. Message Board, quite a busy place, with many members chatting.
And content numbers at the end : over 1500 photo sets, with about 40-70 pics per set on average. Close to 200 video scenes, including interviews and behind the scenes footage. It's really a huge site.
Final Verdict:
DDGirls.Com or Digital Dream Girls is an excellent site, full of super hot models. The site offers a huge amount of content, and keep in mind that it's almost all exclusive stuff. All of their models are very hot, and the content is in top quality. They cover both hardcore and softcore genres, but you have to pay a bit more for the hardcore ad-on. Another negative is the DRM protection of their videos. Despites these negatives, this site is one of the best I have ever reviewed.
